ABOUT AFTER THE FIRE

Delicate abstract photographs of fynbos after having been ravished by wild fire. This collection captures the inherent beauty of these flowers by showcasing their interesting shape, off set by the simplicity left behind once all the brush underwood had been burnt away. Fires are a vital part of the lifecycle for these plants, as they periodically require intense heat to help disperse their seeds.
